Responsibilities Design and build simulation engines for trading teams Improve trading simulation accuracy compared with production results Optimize compilation and run time efficiency for trading simulation Creating tools to analyze data for patterns Build trading simulation with both historical and live market data Design various simulation frameworks required by complex trading strategy setup Support trading teams’ simulation research on a daily basis Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or a related field 0-8 years of experience in software development (within the financial industry is a plus) A strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++ Knowledge of other development languages, including Python, Bash or Shell scripts Working knowledge of Linux Strong analytical, quantitative, mathematical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication skills The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Benefits Tower’s headquarters are in the historic Equitable Building, right in the heart of NYC’s Financial District and our impact is global, with over a dozen offices around the world.
