Job description

Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Job Summary:       This position supports the consulting team and sales in preparing proposals, service agreements, and ensuring proper project documentation. Responsibilities include organizing and maintaining client files, collecting project information from clients, and providing logistical support for meetings and presentations. The role also involves contributing to process improvements for greater efficiency, assisting with data entry, payroll and compliance calculations, and ensuring timely updates of reporting systems. Additionally, the position supports the consulting team with plan document corrections and compliance tasks such as Form 5500/8955-SSA, compliance testing and lost earnings calculations.  

  • Responsibilities
  • Assist consulting team and sales in preparing proposals and service agreements for consulting opportunities and projects
  • Ensure consulting projects are documented correctly; all systems and reporting are updated accurately and timely
  • Organize and maintain accurate client files, plan documents, and related materials. Ensure that all documents are up-to-date, properly filed, and easily accessible for the consulting team. Work with clients on collecting the required information needed to complete consulting projects
  • Assist consulting team with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and ensuring all necessary materials are available prior to client calls and presentations. Provide logistical support for client reviews and ongoing consultation
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal processes and workflows to ensure greater efficiency and consistency in consulting services. Help identify opportunities to streamline operations and enhance client satisfaction
  • Coordinate with consulting team on projects to assist with data entry, payroll and contribution calculations, lost earnings calculations, Form 5500/8955-SSA, compliance testing and plan document corrections

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience 
  • Min 3-5+ years of industry experience
  • Customer focused (internally and externally)
  • Understanding of basic regulatory guidelines governing retirement plans, including awareness of key compliance dates for government rules
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – must have ability to create formulas and macros, set up and navigate spreadsheets, manipulate data)
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; able to communicate effectively with senior level management
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional consultative and influence skills
  • Creative and collaborative problem resolution
