About the role 


 

This is a dedicated writing role with the primary objective of building brand awareness and fame through editorial storytelling for an international jewels and jewellery company, with the focus being the India market. This is a remote role, located in India and managed out of London. A performance mindset and creative approach to solution finding is crucial to succeeding in this role. We are looking for a born storyteller with a passion for luxury and jewellery who also understands the importance of using data to drive performance. 

Editorial excellence, brand affinity, SEO experience and creative ideas will all be essential to this role. Preference is given to writers who have experience in the luxury and jewellery sectors. This person will be expected to attend virtual meetings with the client in the UK so some flexibility around time zones will be required.

What you’ll do 


 

  • Deliver the highest quality editorial content, based on performance analytics to the client each month. 
  • Support the planning and scheduling of content production.
  • Support the client and content squad with creative ideation and with maintaining tone of voice across all platforms.  
  • Work closely with the Content Squad Lead to make sure performance targets are hit and work is delivered on time and in perfect condition.
  • Work closely with the SEO team on delivering highly optimised content according to their recommendations.
  • Create and maintain editorial content calendars that align to strategic priorities.  
  • Work within editorial and channel best practices to deliver exceptional quality for our clients.
  • Participate in ideation sessions for content creation, where required.  
  • Be aware of trends in the subject matter and which are good opportunities for the brand, especially in the India market. 


 
About you 


 

  • 3-5 years writing editorial content in the digital space for different channels including web and social. 
  • Experience in the luxury and jewellery sectors and knowledge of what content creation for a luxury brand entails.
  • Experience in talking to and interviewing experts to inform article creation.  
  • Keen understanding of SEO and how to make it relevant and inspirational to consumers.  
  • Experience in writing non-search based editorial content.  
  • Ability to adapt to brand tone of voice and turn their hand to different subject matter day-to-day.  
  • Experience in producing content specifically for the India market.
  • Candidates with social and CRM experience will be given preference.
