This is a  Full-Time, Maternity Leave Contract (12–15 months).

About the Role

Term: Full-Time, Maternity Leave Contract (12–15 months)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Product to lead the product management team during a maternity leave contract. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic vision, development, and execution of the product roadmap to meet the evolving needs of clients and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy aligned with company goals and market trends.

  • Roadmap Development: Lead the creation and execution of the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market analysis, and business priorities.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor leaders and a team of product managers and designers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and successful product launches.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for product differentiation and growth.

  • Customer Focus: Champion the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet user needs and drive satisfaction.

  • Performance Measurement: Define and track key product metrics, analyze data to make informed decisions, and continuously optimize product performance.



Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, ideally within enterprise SaaS or software companies.

  • Proven success in developing and executing product strategies that drive business growth and customer value.

  • Strong understanding of SaaS technologies, agile development processes, and product lifecycle management.

  • Experience leading and developing high-performing product teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

  • Deep knowledge of market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs in enterprise software solutions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Workforce Management (WFM) solutions.

  • Understanding of the US and Canadian healthcare landscape.

  • Experience in healthcare technology and/or staffing/scheduling.

  • Familiarity with the Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) framework.
