Are you looking to join an industry-leading sales organization? Our Healthcare Life Sciences team works with pharma, by providing tools and solutions to help better understand the market and manage risk.

About the Job: 

The Solution Sales Executive is responsible for direct sales and business development with Life Sciences organizations leading to profitable revenue growth.  

 

You'll Be Responsible For: 

 

  • Territory and account level growth strategy.  Identifying and driving sales opportunities for LexisNexis Risk products and services through the coordination of cross functional LexisNexis Risk resources to educate decision makers and influencers and grow revenue for LexisNexis Risk. 

  • Meeting or exceeding Revenue and New Business objectives. 

  • Understanding the strategic market direction and needs of Life Sciences clients, with demonstrated experience penetrating new customers and expanding within existing accounts. 

  • Owning the account strategy development and opportunity execution, and in doing so, interact cross-functionally within LexisNexis Risk to identify and develop all potential revenue opportunities within the account.   

  • Lead negotiations with the prospective customer through the sales cycle to deal closure. 

  • Successfully transition responsibilities to the Account Management and Implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition to the applicable business unit(s).  Working with the Account Manager to maintain the relationship and help drive adoption and utilization of LexisNexis Risk services, as well as to understand emerging needs and additional sales opportunities within the account.  

 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience. 

  • 10+ years of outside sales experience, including at least 5+ years’ experience working with and selling to life sciences organizations. 

  • Demonstrated Life Sciences specific domain knowledge. 

  • Knowledge of clinical research, real world data, and commercialization aspects of drug development and marketing. 

  • A proven and sustained track record in strategic new business selling directly from business development to closing multi-year business. 

  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills. 

  • Must demonstrate strong persuasion skills and ability to successfully create and manage relationships at both operational and executive levels.   

  • Knowledge of Big Data, Cloud Computing, Identity Fraud is beneficial and a strong plus. 

  • Strong organizational, strategic thinking, and forecasting skills.  

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities, all with fluctuating deadlines and with dependencies of work by other departments, both internal and external.  

  • Travel required up to 50%.

Position is eligible for base salary plus a variable component. Commissions uncapped.

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Hawaii and Colorado: $130,000-140,000 USD

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Maryland and Washington: $130,000-140,000 USD

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for California and Washington DC: $130,000-140,000 USD

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for New York and New Jersey: $130,000-140,000 USD

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for California:$147,800.00 - $274,600.00
