Job description

Hi, We're Franki

Franki is an AI-powered startup helping people discover the best places to eat, drink, and explore — powered by authentic videos from a passionate community of creators and dining enthusiasts.

We believe great dining discovery should feel effortless, inspiring, and true to the local scene. That’s why we’re building a platform where video content, curation, and community come together to spark better experiences.

We’re a fast-moving, high-growth team where creativity, execution, and operational excellence go hand in hand. If you’re passionate about food, restaurants, storytelling, and content that actually inspires — and you’re excited to roll up your sleeves and build something new — this role is for you.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help curate, organize, and optimize the content that powers Franki’s discovery experience.

You’ll be at the heart of what makes Franki feel vibrant and inspiring — surfacing the best new restaurants, showcasing creator content, and ensuring users always have something new and exciting to explore.

In addition to content curation, you’ll support broader marketing and creative operations, managing projects, assets, and jumping in wherever needed. This is a role for someone who’s energized by wearing many hats, figuring things out, and taking ownership.

Note: Candidates residing in our preferred locations will be given first consideration; Texas or California.

What you'll do:

Content Curation & Programming

  • Curate the best of local dining across our key markets, highlighting standout restaurants, seasonal moments, and trending experiences.

  • Stay on the pulse of dining culture — local openings, seasonal trends, events — and program content that feels timely, local, and inspiring.

  • Build and refresh themed discovery collections (e.g., patios for summer, cozy date nights, best brunches) that help users find the right spot for any occasion.

Content Quality & Platform Experience

  • Ensure all featured content — business profiles, Lists, videos — meets Franki’s standards for quality, brand tone, and visual polish.

  • Audit and optimize content regularly to keep the platform feeling fresh, relevant, and cohesive.

  • Collaborate with the Community and Content teams to surface and feature creator-driven content.

Performance Tracking & Content Insights

  • Monitor and report on content engagement and performance metrics.

  • Support light A/B testing and content experiments, partnering with Product and Design to improve user discovery experiences.

  • Blend instinct and analytics to make smart content decisions and iterate on what’s working.

Marketing Support & Creative Operations

  • Assist with managing creative requests, asset organization, and cross-functional project coordination.

  • Support marketing campaigns, launches, and content initiatives with a flexible, “figure it out” mindset.

  • Be a proactive team player who’s ready to jump in, solve problems, and keep things moving.

You're a good fit if you have:

  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, content management, editorial, or a related field (internships count!).

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field

  • Passionate about food, restaurants, dining culture, and storytelling that helps people discover great experiences.

  • Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to adapt to brand tone and style.

  • Excellent taste — you have an eye for what looks good, feels right, and resonates with audiences.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once.

  • Comfortable working with data, content metrics, and reporting

  • A self-starter who’s scrappy, resourceful, and excited to take ownership of a wide variety of projects.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with CMS platforms, consumer-facing apps, or creator/UGC content ecosystems.

  • Visual design skills (Canva, Figma, or similar), Light video editing or social content creation experience.

  • Experience working with data analytics platforms.

Why You’ll Love Working at Franki

  • Competitive salary and benefits (including 100% covered healthcare, dental, and vision).

  • High-growth startup environment where your work directly shapes the user experience.

  • Creative freedom and ownership—we’re looking for someone who brings ideas and energy.

  • A mission-driven team passionate about helping people discover and support the best local businesses.

Perks & Benefits

  • Remote work: Our team works remotely across the US but primarily PST time zone; we travel together several times a year for company kick-offs and mid-year meetings.

  • PTO: 15 days per year, plus additional PTO between Christmas and the end of the year (25th Dec - 31st Dec). Additionally, we recognize 11 public holidays per year.

  • Medical, dental & vision: We cover 100% of Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance costs for employees.

  • 401(k)

  • Equipment: Computer & technology equipment applicable to your role.

  • Monthly Stipend: $40 towards home office expenses
