Role Description

The Manager, Marketing, Global Events is responsible for leading the demand generation and ticketing revenue strategy for INBOUND, HubSpot’s largest event property, as well as, consulting on the marketing for other HubSpot Global events (GROW, Spotlight, etc). This role requires an expert event marketer skilled in all marketing channels including digital, social, content, email, paid media, sales and CS team enablement and AI-driven marketing innovations. The ideal candidate will drive registration and revenue growth while building brand awareness and engagement across HubSpot's events portfolio.

Leading a team of marketing specialists, this role requires an experienced people manager, who  will develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns, oversee co-marketing partnerships, manage budgets, and provide data-driven insights to optimize event performance. The position demands expertise in creating immersive brand experiences and building year-round community engagement that extends beyond individual events. You'll be responsible for designing event marketing strategies that create emotional connections with audiences and deliver measurable business outcomes.

This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and can translate strategic objectives into actionable marketing initiatives that deliver measurable results.

Qualifications
  • [Required] Extensive experience in B2B marketing with a focus on demand generation for paid and free experiences; must have proven experience managing complex external and internal marketing campaigns and budgets
  • [Required] 2+ years of people management experience with demonstrated ability to develop and lead high-performing teams of 3+ people
  • [Required] Proven expertise across multiple marketing channels (digital, content, social, email, paid media; Experience with AI marketing tools and solutions to enhance campaign effectiveness and create personalized experiences at scale, as well as, a personal working knowledge and regular usage of AI tools and solutions
  • [Required] Proven expertise in using Marketing automation platforms to help execute, drive and monitor campaigns; experience in HubSpot Marketing Hub is a plus
  • [Required] Past experience in engaging and enabling sales and customer success teams + larger internal audience(s) to leverage the impact of an events  portfolio to engage their customers and drive business forward
  • Experience managing event registration platforms (Bizzabo experience is a plus)
  • Proven experience with event technology integration and digital engagement strategies for both in-person and virtual/hybrid events is a plus 
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to create data-driven attribution models connecting event marketing to revenue outcomes
  • Expertise in developing strategic partnerships that enhance event value beyond transactional relationships
  • Exceptional agility and creative problem-solving abilities to develop and implement rapid response marketing strategies when event ticket sales aren't meeting projections
  • Excellent budget management skills with a track record of optimizing marketing spend
  • Outstanding project management abilities with expertise in juggling multiple initiatives simultaneously (previous use of Asana is a plus) 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging with executives and cross-functional partners

Cash compensation range: 116000-174000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
