Job description

We’re hiring a sharp, execution-focused Chief of Staff in India to work directly with the CEO and take full ownership of Leverage’s end-to-end business lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup-like environment, moves fast, and enjoys working across multiple functions.

Location: Remote (India-based candidates only)

Compensation: 18-20lpa (based on experience)

Start Date: June 15

Key Responsibilities

🌱 Growth & Lead Generation

  • Research and identify potential U.S.-based startup founders and CEOs as new clients
  • Build and manage outbound lead funnels, from cold outreach to warm intros
  • Work with the founder to drive sales ops and track progress on growth goals

🧠 Talent Sourcing & Recruiting

  • Own and run the full recruiting funnel—sourcing, interviewing, and assessing global candidates
  • Maintain strong pipelines of vetted talent across assistant, operations, and customer support roles
  • Help build and refine internal hiring playbooks and processes

🤝 Client Management & Success

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients once a placement is made
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and proactively support both clients and contractors
  • Manage performance check-ins, resolve any client issues, and strengthen long-term partnerships

Requirements

  • Based in India (with a degree from a tier 1 institute)
  • A strong generalist with 2–5 years of experience in operations, recruiting, client services, or startup environments
  • Excellent verbal and written English; confident interfacing with U.S. clients
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable taking ownership and running multiple workstreams in parallel
  • Strategic thinker who can zoom out, but also happy to do the actual execution
