Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Bridge33 Capital is a fast-growing, vertically integrated private equity firm focused on open-air strip retail.

We are seeking a OPERATIONS AND LEASING PARALEGAL to join our team. This position is responsible for providing support for the company’s commercial real estate operations, while also assisting in supporting administrative functions for various business units including Property Management, Tenant Coordination, Construction, and Asset Management. An integral aspect of this role includes interpreting and summarizing various real estate documents, leases, and agreements.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain organized files and checklists to track project status and critical dates
  • Provide a consistent and high level of service to our business units (i.e Leasing, Asset Management, Property Management, Legal, Tenants)
  • Process and record deal data provided by internal team timely and accurately
  • Compiles and distributes regular recurring reports for weekly update meetings
  • Produces presentation materials with direction from management and/or team leads
  • Maintains consistency with various company form documents used company wide
  • Research lease agreements and tenant data to generate summary reports
  • Maintains tenant design criteria manuals for each assigned property
  • Tracks and monitors all delivery dates required by a lease
  • Encode updates about tenants and leases received from Property Management and Leasing teams
  • Review and analyze all commercial real estate documents as it relates to administering tenant leases
  • Check emails daily (manage personal inbox and administrative inboxes)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Paralegal in Commercial Real Estate
  • Experience working in a real estate company is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with legal document management systems preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with different audiences
  • Team player who is organized, proactive, and works well with others
  • Comfortable working in a high growth organization with a sense of urgency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), familiarity with Adobe Illustrator is a plus
  • Familiarity with commercial leasing language, retail lease agreements and/or paralegal experience a plus
  • Yardi familiarity a plus (property accounting software)

 

WORKING REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Fully remote
  • Fluent in English
  • Will work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Pacific Time (PST)
