We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned General Manager to lead our European operations, with a primary focus on profitable growth in the EU market. This executive role will report directly to the CEO and carry full regional P&L responsibility. The ideal candidate will bring operational savvy, commercial grit, and strategic vision to accelerate our growth across European industrial verticals. This position is based in Europe, ideally within proximity to a major international airport. Regular travel is required to customer sites, suppliers, and Unimacts global teams.

Strategic and Commercial Leadership

  • Build and execute an aggressive growth strategy to expand Unimacts’ presence in the European markets including wind, OEM/Precision, industrial manufacturing, and other verticals.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with key wind turbine OEMs, industrial conglomerates, and tier-1 suppliers across Europe.
  • Lead commercial efforts, including customer acquisition, key account management, and pricing strategy.
  • Represent Unimacts at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to elevate brand visibility and credibility in the EU market.

Operational and Financial Oversight

  • Own the full European P&L. Drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and capital-efficient execution.
  • Oversee supply chain, delivery performance, and manufacturing interface across European suppliers and contract manufacturers.
  • Implement cost control strategies while maintaining high standards of delivery, quality, and compliance.
  • Align closely with Unimacts’ U.S. headquarters to ensure synchronized financial, operational, and compliance reporting.

Product and Market Expansion

  • Leverage existing relationships in the wind sector to scale component supply for nacelles, towers, blade systems, and machined fabrications.
  • Support cross-selling efforts for OEM/Precision offerings including castings, forgings, CNC machined parts, subassemblies, and engineered kits.
  • Identify new market adjacencies and product extensions where Unimacts can deliver competitive advantage via global sourcing and supply chain expertise.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Build and lead a regional team covering sales, supply chain, operations, and customer service.
  • Foster a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Attract and retain top talent across commercial, technical, and operational roles in the EU region.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years in senior leadership roles within wind energy, industrial manufacturing, or supply chain management; A track record of scaling operations across Europe is required.
  • P&L Leadership: Demonstrated success managing business units with at least $100M+ in annual revenue.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with wind energy supply chain, turbine systems, heavy component manufacturing, and European regulatory frameworks.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation, contract, and pricing experience. Able to close large industrial deals and develop enterprise-level relationships.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to lead market entry strategies, product expansion, and multi-country operations in a complex regulatory environment.
  • Mobility: Must be EU-based, with flexibility for frequent travel across Europe and to global Unimacts sites.

Preferred Background

  • Deep understanding of wind turbine systems, including nacelle frames, hubs, spinner covers, forged shafts, ductile iron castings, vortex generators, and safety-critical components.
  • Experience with engineered precision components: hot and cold forgings, CNC machining, investment casting, and aluminum extrusions.
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles in B2B environments with long lead times and engineering-intensive specifications.
