About Client Company:


Hiring for a UAE based leading media and entertainment firm.

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

Prepare and deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly financial reports to the management team.

Ensure all reports are accurate, consistent, and submitted on time.

Gather financial and operational data from all Business Units (BUs) on a regular basis.

Consolidate data from multiple BUs to create streamlined, centralized reports for management review.

Take full ownership of the reporting pack, including preparation, analysis, and presentation.

Maintain and update necessary schedules and supporting documentation for all relevant Profit & Loss (P&L) items.

Perform detailed analysis of various finance functions to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Address finance-related concerns raised by regional teams with appropriate solutions and guidance.

Highlight any major financial issues or anomalies to management in a timely manner to allow for corrective actions.

Identify and communicate key financial and operational risks that may impact business performance.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

Conduct weekly financial projections in collaboration with regional finance teams, sales departments, project teams, and business managers.

Review and evaluate project budgets, grants, and contract implementation plans to ensure alignment with financial goals.

Monitor and enforce budget controls across all regions to prevent overspending and ensure compliance.

Review and validate Business Development plans prior to their submission to Group Finance to ensure feasibility and financial alignment.

3. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

Assist finance teams with effective cash flow management by providing timely analysis and recommendations.

Maintain a continuously updated record of cash flow positions and working capital requirements for all regions and BUs.

Ensure real-time tracking of cash flow activities, identifying any gaps or issues that may require management's attention.

Escalate concerns or urgent cash flow issues to management and propose actionable solutions.

4. Ad Hoc Responsibilities

Execute any additional tasks or special projects as assigned by the reporting manager.

Maintain flexibility to support evolving business needs and contribute to broader organizational goals when required.

Deadline-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver results under tight timelines.

Well-versed in valuation methods, including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and other financial modeling techniques.

Proficient in creating impactful presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT).

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including financial models, dashboards, and data analysis tools.

Experienced in Microsoft Visio for process mapping and visual documentation.

Skilled in preparing and maintaining reporting templates and performance tracking tools.

Capable of generating projections and forecasts in collaboration with finance and business teams.

Familiar with using AI-generated insights and content for reporting and business analysis.

Knowledge of statistical analysis for business intelligence and decision support.

Strong understanding of core business functions such as finance, sales, operations, and strategic planning.

High degree of computer literacy and proven ability to integrate technology into workplace operations.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.

Fluent in English (written and spoken) with strong business communication capabilities.
