Job description

cFocus Software seeks a SME C51 Systems and Modernization Specialist to join our program supporting the US Navy. This position is remote. This position requires a Secret clearance.

Qualifications:

Active Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other Engineering discipline
10+ years of experience of Navy Modernization to include extensive knowledge of C5I systems, including system nomenclatures, versions and variants.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of Navy ships, submarines, and shore commands including sub-commands, strike groups, and other Navy organizations.
Possess in-depth understanding of Navy system families, versions, and alterations.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Navy Modernization Process, the C5I Modernization Process, and the Undersea Modernization Process.

Duties:

Responsible for providing subject matter expert support and technical expertise to support C5I baselining and C5I Modernization.
Responsible for attending relevant meetings with the C5I modernization as needed and providing information gathered at those meetings to the government on how it may impact the program.
Work with the government to act as a voice of the end user for C5I Modernization related content in NTIRA.
Provide data validation and necessary interpretation of data in support of data management activities for the program.
Responsible for and in coordination with the government, provide briefs, white papers, research collection, and analysis within the context of C5I Modernization.
Act as an advocate for NTIRA within the C5I Modernization community.
Coordinate with government on identifying capability gaps and requirements in support of the C5I Modernization community for inclusion in NTIRA.
