Job description

cFocus Software seeks a Data Scientist, Senior to join our program supporting the US Navy. This position is remote. This position requires a Secret clearance.

Qualifications:

Active Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering degree; or a degree in a Mathematics or Engineering field.
10+ years of experience of multiple levels of the data science process (collection, cleaning, extraction, transformation, loading, analysis / inference / prediction) in a technology-based environment (e.g. software, computer science, cloud) with specific experience in end-to-end with data to include querying, aggregation, analysis, and visualization.
Experience with designing and implementing complex algorithms to create models with production data.
Recent experience with building and evaluating machine-learning models.
Proficiency and experience with scripting in languages such as Python to develop data models in a production software environment.
Experience versioning software with Atlassian Bitbucket or similar Git based repository.
Experience with Atlassian Jira or similar issue and project tracking software.
Experience with Atlassian Confluence or similar knowledge management software
Active DoD IAT II certification

Duties:

Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets.
Visualize, interpret, and report data findings.
May create dynamic data reports
