cFocus Software seeks an API Developer to join our program supporting Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This position is remote. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Active TS/SCI clearance
3-5 Years of experience with REST based APIs
3-5 Years experience with HTTP and SOAP Protocols
3-5 Years experience with REST and Rest Oriented Architecture (ROA)
3-5 Years experience with JAVA/ JavaScript/Python/.NET development

Excellent communications skill (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Duties:
Responsibilities include documentation of functional specifications for the Fleet H.O.M.E. APIs, product information, and the operational procedures.
Evaluate and select enterprise application development and integration technologies and solutions to support data ingestion from external sources.
Conduct functional, regression and load testing for API technologies.
Work with the ITPM and associated Fleet H.O.M.E. IT Support personnel in shaping an API design and deployment roadmap.
Devise and report on API integration development plans and strategies.
API design strategies to use GEOCODE data associated with Telematics
Develop asynchronous messaging architectures, rule-based systems, and network architectures.
Coordinating activities with other developers to ensure that API integration projects are completed on time.
Formulating strategies and designing architectures for systems integrations.
Ensure that best practices in integration processes are followed by the organization.
Check and correct conflicts in data configurations and overlaps.
Maintain the integrity and smooth functioning of the company's integration architecture.
Analyze and improve current system integrations and migration strategies.
Identify, debug, and advise on system errors or architecture issues.
Assist with the management of organizational databases and retrieval systems.
