The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a full-time Product Specifier (CAD) to join our team; the position is based in DTLA and will provide local and remote support to our team. You will partner with our Project Managers and Business Developers to create timely and accurate drawings and specifications for our clients.
Position Responsibilities
Working Knowledge of CET
Design and Space plan
Draft 2D and axonometric typical workstations and offices
Incorporate furniture solutions into building plan provided by client or designer
Generate bills of material from drawings and apply finish selections
Modify drawings according to requests for change
Prepare detailed installation drawings
Maintain accurate as-built drawings to reflect changes during installation or post-occupancy reconfiguration
Participate in training to become an expert in furniture applications
Learn and watch for basic building code issues
Position Requirements
4-years of experience or 2-year degree in related field
Working knowledge of Autocad and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of 20/20 CAP
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytic and verbal reasoning skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Efficient and accurate
Detail oriented and conscientious
Prior experience in the furniture industry or design field and knowledge of MillerKnoll product highly regarded
Herman Miller Proficiency Preferred
