Please Note: This position requires 1 to 2 days per week in our Mankato office. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that all company operations, properties, and staff adhere to legal standards and internal policies. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of housing regulations and thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Job Tasks And Responsibilities Oversee compliance, programs, policies and procedures to ensure regulatory adherence Monitor local, state, and federal regulations affecting property management, including Fair Housing, ADA, and landlord/tenant laws Conduct regular audits of leasing files, financial records, and operational procedures to assess compliance risks Partner with Site and Regional Property Managers to provide compliance training and updates Maintain credentials for Fair Housing as well as secure access to confidential information Perform all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner Additional projects and tasks assigned Requirements 5+ years of experience in compliance, preferably within property management Strong understanding of housing regulations, property laws and risk management best practices Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Experience with compliance software and property management platforms a plus Team Environment Our Compliance Team is well respected within the affordable housing community, including high commendations from State agencies for the exceptional quality of work completed by our department and company.
