THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a clear passion for building a high-growth startup. The Edtech Consultant role is responsible for selling Matific’s value proposition to inbound and outbound leads across the CEE region, with a primary focus on Hungary. The role will develop and effectively manage a robust sales pipeline, while executing sales strategies to secure deals to achieve revenue goals. Experience and/or knowledge of the education market is highly desired.

Over time, success in the role will open opportunities within the company.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Run a full sales cycle and close new business to exceed quotas consistently. 
  • Responsible for prospecting new leads that help us grow, creatively and constantly looking for the best way to access the educational market.
  • Develop and execute against a strategic plan that leads to creating and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, driving new business with untapped customers.
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around Matific
  • Lead the onboarding process for new schools, ensuring a smooth and successful integration into the platform. 
  • Proactively provide training and support to our local customers, both onsite and online. 
  • Foster strong relationships with school users by providing regular check-ins and value-added services and identifying opportunities to increase platform engagement and retention. 
  • Track and analyze platform usage data, offering insights and recommendations to school users and internal teams to improve platform utilization
  • Monitor and upsell licenses; drive yearly renewals and revenue growth.
  • Host webinars, attend conferences, and support customer-facing events.
  • Stay up to date with all features and developments on the Matific platform, ensuring you are well-informed to provide the best possible customer support. 
  • Collaborate with our global commercial teams on best practices
  • Clear Salesforce CRM usage, effective pipeline management and drive leading indicators (sales efforts/activities) to convert win rates.
  • Deliver to quarterly and annual targets

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience with a proven track record, preferably in the education sector
  • Strong consultative sales skills, sales resilience and exceptional closing experience
  • Native in Hungarian and high level of proficiency in English and in Slovakian, both written and spoken.
  • Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to drive process improvements.
  • High energy, motivated and driven to succeed

  • Travel when required to events and onsite to districts and schools.
