This is a remote position.

Role : Junior Software Developer

Full Time Position Monday – Friday

9am - 5pm London Time.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Software Developer to join our team and assist with a variety of tasks, including bug fixing, web development (using Drupal and other platforms), and general project support.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in a supportive, collaborative environment while being part of a broader larger team spread across the Philippines and Australia.

This role will be reporting to the Q-Tech Software Developer based in London UK.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using Drupal (versions 7, 10 and later) or other platforms, with opportunities to support mobile applications as needed.
Contribute to implementing features based on user needs and design specifications.
Help test and debug applications to ensure performance and reliability.
Learn from other team members through collaboration to build your technical expertise.
Offer support to users and contribute to documentation as needed.

Required Skills

Strong ability to communicate, ask questions, and understand requirements.
A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
Knowledge of web development, ideally with some exposure to Content Management Systems e.g. Drupal, WordPress.
Core Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in:
Website Building
HTML
CSS

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with Drupal, PHP, database management.
Exposure to mobile app development or API implementation.

Experience

Entry-Level experience in web development, preferably with CMS platforms.
Interest in creating software that improves user experience and business efficiency.
Experience with other web-based platforms is welcome, with a willingness to learn.
