Job Summary
 

The HR Generalist is responsible for providing essential HR support and exceptional customer service to our HR team, employees, and clinics. This role supports a wide range of HR functions, with an emphasis on leave of absence administration, benefits, employee inquiries, HRIS data management, and general HR administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is a proactive contributor who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively across the organization while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of benefits and total rewards programs such as: Open Enrollment, 401k, LOA, FML, ADA, PWFA, as well as any other current or future programs

  • Support compliance for state and federal regulations

  • Handle benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits-related paperwork and data entry

  • Propose adjustments to benefits information materials, including handbooks, brochures, and intranet content.

  • Conduct benefits orientations and open enrollment meetings

  • Assists in onboarding and training new team members on Crossover’s unique benefit offerings

  • Provide comprehensive and accurate support to employees and internal stakeholders regarding compensation, benefits questions and total rewards inquiries

  • Served as the first point of contact for employee inquiries via the HR ticketing system

  • Conduct regular audits of HR data in systems (HRIS, Storage Systems) to ensure integrity and alignment across platforms. 

  • Provided administrative support for performance review cycles, compensation adjustments, and organizational changes by preparing reports and updating systems.

  • Supported compliance efforts by managing mandatory training records, policy acknowledgments, and reporting for internal and external audits.

  • Supports the HR team with ad-hoc projects from time to time

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting HR Generalist functions, including Leave Management, HRIS, and Administrative HR support

  • Proven experience managing leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, STD, etc.)

  • Hands-on experience working with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, Paycom)

  • Google Suite: Sheets/Spreadsheet proficiency: V-Lookup, Formulas, Automation, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on a fast-paced, high volume HR team

  • Experience with HRIS administration, preferred Workday experience

  • PHR, SPHR and/or SHRM Certifications

  • Understanding of HR functions and best practices

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with a Mac and Gmail suite of applications 

Physical Job Requirements

  • Regularly required to be independently mobile

  • Regularly required to interact with a computer and communicate with peers and co-workers

The base pay range for this position is $69,475.00 to $90,317 per year. Pay range may vary depending on work location, applicable knowledge, skills, and experience. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off and 401K.
