Job description

The Senior Manager, Total Rewards works as part of the Total Rewards team to support the development and implementation of total reward strategies. They ensure Bright Horizons pay structure is competitive, equitable, and aligned with its strategic goals by analyzing compensation data, conducting salary surveys, and evaluating job positions.

This is a Remote position available in the United States.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management in a consultative manner to develop specific recommendations and creative solutions to attract, motivate and retain key talent

  • Conduct market assessments and participate in salary surveys to ensure company’s competitive market position globally

  • Support the annual administration of the compensation program by providing management with advice on setting pay, policy and guideline interpretation, as well as feedback on job evaluation summaries

  • Continuously review and identify processes, programs or tools that could benefit from automation or enhancements and support improvements to enable greater efficiencies and scalability

  • Support the development and maintenance of salary structures, job architecture as well as career ladders

  • Support the development of pay policies that are compliant and support the growing organization through benchmarking and research

  • Conduct pay equity reporting and analysis

  • Support audit processes and legal reporting to make certain compensation programs are administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations

  • Support other HR initiatives as needed

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration or other related field or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years hands-on compensation experience including plan design and implementation

Additional Job Requirements

  • Certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR, CCP

  • Ability to thrive working in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient

  • A highly metrics-focused orientation that can effectively analyze a variety of data, draw insights, and communicate technically complex information in an understandable manner

  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills including the ability to work with raw data to provide insights to support business decisions

  • Ability to lead projects and be highly collaborative

  • Experience participating in salary surveys as well as using survey data to analyze salary benchmarks

  • Expertise in conducting job evaluations

  • Experience conducting pay equity analysis highly preferred

  • Experience with Workday and/or Payfactors a plus, but not required

  • Experience in Tableau or similar analytic platforms a plus, but not required

  • Proficiency in MS suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint as well as advanced Excel knowledge (ability to perform sophisticated analysis on large data sets)

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $95,000 – 120,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

This position is also eligible for bonus.

Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements and accrual schedules, new employees in this role receive up to: 9 paid holidays annually; 40 hours of sick time per year based on full-time schedule, and 120 hours of vacation time per year based on full-time schedule (vacation time may be used for sick leave purposes under any applicable state or local sick or safe time law).
