About the Team

The Compensation team designs and manages programs to motivate and retain top talent and enable our Pay for Performance philosophy. Our work impacts every employee globally through the programs we administer. As part of the Total Rewards function, the Global Compensation team strives to provide a consistent and inclusive experience for all DoorDash employees, regardless of their location, background, or job responsibility.

About the Role

The Compensation Consultant will play a key role in the development, implementation, and management of DoorDash's compensation strategy to help us shape our future. You will provide leadership in scaling compensation programs for one of our core business areas, and contribute to the development of initiatives for the unique employee populations on these teams. Your work will help guide the continued development of DoorDash's compensation programs as we scale.

  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and ensure compliance with reporting and global, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements

  • You have 8+ years of experience focused on developing and scaling compensation programs, ideally within a tech or high-growth company

  • You have exceptional stakeholder management skills, and are a strong communicator who can lead with influence, navigate ambiguity, and build trust across technical and non-technical teams
  • You have strong business acumen, data analysis skills and a deep understanding of equity/stock compensation
  • You can apply change management and thrive in an evolving business while staying anchored to your goals and the Total Rewards strategy
  • You are comfortable with emerging HR technologies, including AI-driven platforms for data analytics, market intelligence, or compensation benchmarking

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
