Job description

At Beam, you get to do work that really matters. We’re solving the world’s toughest social problems, and now we're taking our impact to the US! 🚀

It’s not easy. Nothing worth doing ever is. But we’re building a supportive environment where you can be yourself, have fun, and progress as we scale our impact internationally.

The Role

We’re seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Partnerships Executive to lead Beam's exciting expansion into the United States with our innovative platform, Magic Notes. Working in an elite team directly with the CEO, this pivotal role will be instrumental in driving our initial market entry, securing our first US partnerships, establishing our impact, and directly contributing to our ambitious scaling journey. You will be at the forefront of introducing Magic Notes to key sectors within the US, leveraging your experience in sales and partnerships.

Magic Notes is an AI-powered tool, already used and loved by hundreds of frontline care organisations in the UK, designed to significantly reduce administrative burden for frontline workers across various fields. This is a hands-on and high-impact role where you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from initial outreach to closing deals. You’ll be instrumental in validating our product-market fit in the US, laying the groundwork for future growth all while helping the frontline care sector drastically improve its delivery of care.

You’ll be:

  • Executing our Go-to-Market Strategy: Taking ownership of and implementing the initial market entry strategy for Magic Notes in the US.

  • Building and Owning Your Pipeline: Identifying, engaging, and nurturing potential partners within the US market to build a robust and probability-weighted pipeline to achieve ambitious sales targets. This includes independently researching prospects, initiating contact, and moving them through the sales process.

  • Closing Deals: Effectively presenting the value proposition of Magic Notes, negotiating terms, and closing deals with key decision-makers in target organizations.

  • Cultivating Strong Relationships: Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels within prospect organizations.

  • Providing Market Feedback: Gathering and relaying valuable insights from the US market to the product and leadership teams to inform product development and market strategy.

  • Contributing to Sales Strategy: Testing and contributing to the development of effective sales strategies and playbooks for the US market.

  • Reporting and Tracking Progress: Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and progress within our CRM system, Hubspot, to enable accurate forecasting and performance analysis.

You’ll have:

  • Exceptional Drive and Resilience: You are exceptionally results-driven, persistent in the face of challenges, and possess a strong self-starter mentality.

  • Proven Relationship Building Skills: You have a natural ability to build rapport and establish trust with individuals at all levels.

  • Top-Class Communication Skills: You possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

  • A Strategic Mindset: You can think strategically about market opportunities and develop effective approaches to engage potential partners.

  • An Adaptive and Growth Mindset: You thrive in a dynamic environment, are comfortable with ambiguity, and are eager to learn and adapt quickly.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a fast paced startup environment

  • Experience working with or selling into State or Local government, nursing homes, or healthcare industries in the US.

Success looks like:

  • Successfully closing initial deals in the US market, demonstrating the value and impact of Magic Notes.

  • Building a strong and qualified pipeline of US-based prospects.

  • Providing valuable market insights that inform Beam’s US market strategy and product development.

  • Establishing a foundational sales process for future growth in the US.

  • Contributing to Beam’s overall international expansion and revenue targets.
