As Sr Project Manager on the Egnyte Professional Services team, you would be responsible for planning and overseeing multiple customer projects to ensure that they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget and scope. You will plan and designate project resources, monitor progress and keep stakeholders updated on status in a timely manner. Your main goal would be to create and manage projects to successful completion - from initiation, through delivery, to closure, meeting all customer expectations and outcomes. Ideal candidates would possess broad experience in handling difficult or sensitive situations, in a professional, timely, and thorough manner. Qualified candidates are self-starters and highly motivated to provide excellent customer service. The Principal Professional Services Project Manager would be an integral part of Egnyte’s Professional Services organization by helping customers maximize the value of their investment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead and manage complex programs and projects to ensure successful customer deployment and adoption of Egnyte’s platform
- Manage and communicate deliverables, risks, project timeline, ROI, and issues
- Act as a liaison between Egnyte’s customers and internal teams to ensure smooth project completion and success
- Communicate professionally and succinctly while following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Ensure internal processes and client-facing documents are current and in support of corporate goals
- Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner; identify and bring in resources as required for quick response to client issues raised during the implementation phase
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Manage overall customer relationship and satisfaction during all phases of the engagement
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-8 years’ experience managing projects in Customer Facing Implementation roles (remote and onsite) in a technology organization
- Proven track record of working with external customers, as well as with key internal partner teams including Sales, Engineering, and Product Management
- Excellent customer engagement, presentation, and communication skills
- Solid organizational skills and multi-tasking skills, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to process in a quick changing environment; ability to manage multiple projects with multiple resources
- Experience handling escalations at all levels
- A strong understanding of project financials, revenue, cost, and margin is required
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience with creating, maintaining and following a repeatable project methodology
- Understanding of technology relative to data, storage, API integration, Public and Private Cloud highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline is preferred
COMPENSATION:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies based on defined markets. The standard base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $115k - $123k annually. Pay varies by work location and may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience.
