With Confluent, organizations can harness the full power of continuously flowing data to innovate and win in the modern digital world. We have a purpose that drives us to do better every day – we're creating an entirely new category within data infrastructure - data streaming. This technology will allow every organization to create experiences and use the power of data in ways that profoundly impact the way we all live. This impact is our purpose and drives us to do better every day.

One Confluent. One team. One Data Streaming Platform.

Data Connects Us.

About the Role:

This role reports to the SVP of Product and Partner Marketing and is instrumental in driving Confluent's go-to-market strategy through our ecosystem of partners. At its core, Confluent is an ecosystem company, and we have strong relationships with Cloud Service Providers, Independent Software Vendors, Managed Service Providers, and Systems Integrators that serve to accelerate our business and enhance value and success for our joint customers. You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing plans that amplify our product value proposition, engage our partner ecosystem, and ultimately drive revenue growth for the company. This position requires a dynamic leader who can bring a blend of strategic thinking, strong cross-functional collaboration, and an ability to execute with urgency.

You will collaborate closely with our Business Development, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and synergy in our marketing efforts. You will lead a team to create compelling product messaging, develop partner enablement programs, and drive joint marketing initiatives. This role is pivotal in positioning Confluent as the leader in the data streaming category, both directly and through our partner ecosystem.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive partner marketing strategies aligned with our product roadmap, go-to-market strategy, and company goals.
  • Lead a team of Partner Marketers to design and implement partner marketing programs, including joint marketing initiatives, enablement tools, and training resources.
  • Lead a team of Product Marketers to create and refine messaging, positioning, and value propositions that elevate our collaboration with the partner ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to ensure effective product launches involving the ecosystem, creating supporting collateral, sales tools, and training materials.
  • Partner with Sales to provide support and enablement resources that enhance their effectiveness when going to market together with ecosystem partners.
  • Partner with Marketing teams, including Field, Events, and Campaigns to integrate partners into our Marketing programs and drive impact that benefits Confluent, our partners, and our joint customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Marketing leaders at our top partners.
  • Oversee marketing content development, including case studies, white papers, blog posts, and presentations.
  • Drive key business metrics aligned with our partner programs, including pipeline generation and customer signups.

What You Will Bring:

  • A minimum of 12+  years of experience in product or partner marketing, ideally in B2B and with developer-focused, data, or software infrastructure products.
  • 8+ years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful partner marketing programs.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software and cloud technologies, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and compelling value propositions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and present effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate, influence, and execute effectively across Marketing and cross-functional teams.

What Gives You an Edge:

  • Experience working with data infrastructure or streaming technologies.
  • Experience marketing Artificial Intelligence products and use cases.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through partner and product marketing initiatives.
  • Strong network within the technology partner ecosystem.
  • Previous experience working closely with CSPs, MSPs, GSIs, and ISVs
