Title: Digital Manager
Location: Remote

This opportunity is for a skilled Digital Manager to join our team and lead front-end development efforts across complex applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of JavaScript, web markup (such as HTML5), and front-end tools including Grunt and Gulp JS. Responsibilities include optimizing application performance, ensuring UI/UX feasibility, implementing APIs, and collaborating with back-end developers to deliver high-quality solutions
Responsibilities
JavaScript Developer Responsibilities 
  • Lead the development and maintenance of scalable, high-performance front-end applications.
  • Translate complex design specifications into functional, responsive user interfaces.
  • Optimize application performance by analyzing code, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing enhancements.
  • Ensure alignment of UI/UX designs with technical feasibility and user experience best practices.
  • Architect and implement APIs and client-side logic that integrate seamlessly with back-end systems.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code to support long-term development goals.
  • Adapt and modify existing designs and application specifications to meet evolving requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of system risks, performance metrics, and code reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product owners, and back-end developers, to deliver integrated solutions.
News Briefings 
  •  Deliver accurate and timely Daily Media News Briefings in accordance with client deadlines and quality standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive media scans across major U.S. newspapers, national and cable news broadcasts, industry journals, online platforms, and specialty press to identify relevant coverage.
  • Analyze news content with a deep understanding of the client’s mission to determine which elements are significant and actionable.
  • Edit and refine source material by removing redundant or irrelevant content to enhance clarity and focus.
  • Synthesize information from multiple media sources to craft cohesive, narrative-style summaries that present a unified storyline across various outlets.
  • Integrate and cross-reference media reports to provide comprehensive and context-rich briefings.
  • Assess and articulate the breadth and tone of media coverage to give clients quick insight into the media landscape and public sentiment.
  • Perform additional editorial, research, or communication duties as assigned to support the broader communications team.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum two years of experience. 
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field. 
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of JavaScript. 
  • Experience in creating content on the Haivision Coolsign System is a plus. 
  • Experience with JavaScript libraries (e.g. ExtJS, Backbone JS, and Angular JS). 
  • Proficiency in browser rendering behavior and performance. 
  • Experience in front-end tools (e.g. Grunt and Gulp JS.) 
  • Sound understanding of web markup, such as HTML5. 
  • Other Duties as Assigned
