Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Eastern Time

Pay Range:  USD 6 Hourly

Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic finance professional to lead and oversee financial activities at Nao Medical. This role involves detailed financial modeling, planning, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate has integrity, a love for numbers and data, understanding of accounting and finance, and a hands-on approach to working. 

Primary Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain an operating financial model, which will encompass Budget vs Actuals, forecasting, and FP&A functions.

  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Surface insights from financial data and propose revenue-enhancing or cost-cutting measures.

  • Optimize working capital by managing cash flow and treasury functions.

  • Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and tax filings.

  • Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a high-performance culture.

Job Requirements

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in corporate finance roles, FP&A, or senior-level finance roles (e.g., Controller, VP of Finance).

  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Proficiency in financial software, spreadsheets, and ERP systems.

  • Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to integrity and accuracy.

  • Preferred: experience in healthcare

Skills:

  • Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Expertise in creating and interpreting financial models, forecasts, and budget variance analyses to guide strategic decisions.

  • Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, audit standards, and financial reporting requirements.

  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead finance teams, manage performance, and foster collaboration across departments.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align financial operations with organizational goals, drive cost-efficiency, and support long-term growth.

  • Problem Solving & Decision Making: Strong critical thinking skills with a proactive approach to identifying risks and developing solutions.

  • Communication & Presentation: Capable of translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.

  • Systems Proficiency: Comfortable working with financial systems, ERP software, spreadsheets, and reporting tools such as Excel, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar.

  • Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and precision in financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance tasks.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving remote environment and managing competing priorities.

  • Ethical Judgment & Integrity: Demonstrates a high level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial data.

Schedule Requirements:

  • Ability to work shifts during Eastern Time, from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday.


Technical Requirements:

  • Reliable wired internet connection (100 Mbps minimum).

  • Computer/laptop with Intel Core i5 or Ryzen 5 processor, 8GB RAM minimum, and 128GB free storage.

  • Dual-screen setup preferred for enhanced productivity.

  • Operating system: Windows 10 or macOS (latest version).

  • Clear webcam (720p or higher) and microphone for communication.

  • Backup systems for electricity and internet outages.
