Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Technical Recruiter with 2–4 years of experience to support hiring for engineering and operations roles in a regulated, high-precision contract manufacturing environment. In this role, you will play a key part in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent to support our growing operations in the medical device contract manufacturing industry The ideal candidate will bring expertise in technical sourcing strategies, a solid understanding of engineering and manufacturing functions, and the ability to identify and engage top talent in a competitive market.
This position is remote. Candidates must be based out of one of the following states: FL, IN, MA, MI, NJ, PA, WI
Principle Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for roles across operations, quality, engineering, supply chain, and support functions.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define job specifications, create job description and develop effective sourcing strategies, understand team dynamics, and align on ideal candidate profiles.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience from initial outreach through offer and onboarding.
- Source candidates through various channels including job boards, networking, social media, and employee referrals. Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to attract passive and active candidates, leveraging Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, talent databases, and networking.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate technical and onsite interviews. Conduct initial candidate screenings, assess technical and cultural fit, and manage interview coordination.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience from initial outreach through offer and onboarding
- Partner with HR and department heads to forecast future hiring needs based on production demand and customer contracts.
- Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) data and reporting to ensure process accuracy and compliance.
- Support employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice within the medical device manufacturing space.
Qualification Requirements
Experience/Educational/Training Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Business, or related field.
- 2–4 years of recruitment experience, preferably in a regulated or manufacturing industry Proven success using advanced sourcing techniques and tools to identify and engage hard-to-find technical talent.
- Strong knowledge of engineering roles and terminology relevant to manufacturing (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, CNC, GD&T, etc).
- Experience with ATS platforms and recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Previous experience recruiting for roles in quality, production, and/or engineering.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions with competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management and consultative approach to recruitment.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and technical skillsets common to regulated environments.
- Comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization, from hourly associates to senior leadership.
