Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. 

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. 

The new team has three locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. The Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

Your mission
  • Design and develop lightweight, high-performance solutions using advanced composite materials and processes
  • Deliver innovative and robust 3D and 2D composite design solutions that meet specifications, time, and budget targets
  • Collaborate with other engineering departments, i.e.: aerodynamics, mechanical design, structures design, reliability, manufacturing and testing to align goals with performance, costs and reliability.
  • Identification and resolution of composite parts reliability and quality control issues
  • Contribution to the continuous improvement of design process standards and methodologies
Your profile
  • Strong knowledge in composite materials and their use, manufacturing process
  • Proven experience in design and delivering significant composite car projects
  • Ability to perform hand calculation and with good understanding of finite element analysis results  
  • Proven track record of delivering complex design projects under tight deadlines with a structured, proactive approach.
  • Extensive experience in composite design and engineering using CATIA or Siemens NX
  • Strong understanding of DFM principles and the ability to develop robust designs using DFMEA.
  • Excellent communication skills—capable of presenting concepts clearly in design reviews and stakeholder meetings
  • A flexible, collaborative mindset with a passion for innovation, high performance, and continuous learning
