POSITION SUMMARY:
The Product and Agronomy Project Manager will coordinate and facilitate the execution of various product management and agronomy-related projects, support training initiatives, and closely collaborate with our brand marketing teams to deliver resources and support to accomplish organizational objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Project Management in Agronomy:
- Lead and manage agronomy projects from inception through completion, ensuring that all project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Collaborate with key leaders in sales, agronomy, and marketing to define project scopes, deliverables, and performance metrics.
- Develop and enable field-based protocols and initiatives for agronomy, including but not limited to national testing protocols, branded agronomy initiatives, UAV use, and other related projects.
- Regularly evaluate project progress and adjust plans as necessary to maintain project alignment with company goals
2. Product Management Data and Project Management:
- Coordinate with Agronomy and Technical Product Teams to execute field-based initiatives and protocols.
- Develop and maintain systems of documentation and ensure the proper collection and reporting of data to support product management teams. Work closely with decision sciences team to ensure proper flow and use of product-related data.
- Stay up to date with current market trends and competitive intelligence. Communicate updates regularly to key stakeholders, including agronomy, product management, sales teams, and commercial leadership.
3. Product & Agronomy Knowledge Transfer:
- Manage process and workflows aimed at promoting AgReliant’s agronomy expertise, technologies, and products. Create and adjust workflows, provide data, monitor progress and outputs, and provide feedback to marketing teams.
- Collaborate with the AgReliant marketing team to develop content that effectively communicates technical agronomy topics to various audiences, including farmers, dealers, and other industry stakeholders. Provide technical feedback and agronomic expertise to marketing teams for creation of printed and digital marketing content.
- Work with the National Agronomy Lead and Agronomy Division Managers to create tactics and coordinate resources to support agronomic training initiatives for field teams.
- Support brand product management and marketing teams on development of product-focused collateral, including seed guides, product profiles, treatment guides, site sellers, etc.
- Stay up to date with digital marketing trends and tools in the agriculture sector to ensure effective collaboration amongst product, sales, marketing, and agronomy. Act as a liaison between marketing and agronomy to support sales agronomists in effective sharing of digital content.
4. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, industry agronomy experts, partners, and key customers.
- Facilitate clear communication, gather input, and coordinate project contributions from cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product management, R&D, decision sciences, IT, and others, ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals and expectations.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal leadership, clients, and other stakeholders.
5. Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Project Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in agronomy or related field.
- Proven experience coordinating projects that align with agronomic protocols and/or sales and technical agronomic support.
- Experience working with marketing and/or knowledge transfer teams.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Strong understanding of agronomy principles, technologies, and practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to think creatively, create new projects and workflows or adjust existing processes to align to evolving objectives, strategies, and resources available.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday, Microsoft Project) and digital marketing platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to travel up to 10% during growing season months.
- Must have valid driver’s license and meet MVR Requirements.
