We’re looking for a highly organized, team-oriented Leave Specialist to join our small-knit team of three. In this role, you’ll ensure employees have a smooth, respectful leave experience — from medical leaves to family care — while keeping Elara Caring compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. You’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive environment where your contributions directly impact the well-being of both our employees and the patients they serve.

Manage FMLA leave from start to return-to-work, including eligibility, documentation, medical certification, and intermittent/reduced schedules.
Advise on leave interactions with PTO, sick leave, workers’ comp, and disability.
Ensure compliance with CBAs and legal requirements (FMLA, ADA, state/federal laws).
Communicate empathetically with employees and advise managers.
Interact with disability vendors.
Use HRMS systems (preferably Workday, HR Service Now).
Handle additional projects/duties as needed.
Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.
3+ years of leave management experience.
STRONG knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and Federal laws
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
3+ years of HRMS experience.
Experience with Workday and HR Service Now (preferred).
