Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our enterprise data team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and maintaining reports using Power BI, a solid grasp of visualization best practices, and meticulous attention to detail for data validation. This role demands excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with end users on report adoption and troubleshooting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Apply visualization best practices to ensure reports are clear, accurate, and actionable.
• Perform data validation to ensure the integrity and accuracy of reports.
• Assist end users with report adoption, including training and troubleshooting.
• Monitor report performance and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency.
• Document report development processes and create user guides.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in reporting tools and techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Understanding of financial metrics and standardized reporting.
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices.
• Experience in data validation and ensuring data accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with end users.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with SQL and data querying languages is a plus.

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
