About the Role:

Are you looking to take your first step into the world of product and tech? Have a background in operations or B2C support? Then this opportunity is for you!

As a Product Operations Specialist, you’ll play a hands-on role with tangible impact. Reporting to the Product Operations Manager, you’ll work closely with the Member Platform product team on a key initiative that will shape how millions of members experience YouGov.

 About the Team:

We’re a fast-moving, growth-focused, and resilient group that thrives on curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning. At YouGov, we value experimentation, adaptability, and thoughtful problem-solving — because we know great products come from both wins and lessons.

We are a remote-first team, working across the globe as part of YouGov’s Platform Technology function. Together, we design and build the Member Platform — the space where our global panel engages with our data-sharing tools, registers, participates in research, and gets rewarded. We’re proud to partner with teams across the business to improve every touchpoint of the member experience.

This team also champions the voice of our members in strategic projects company-wide — ensuring every decision reflects their needs and expectations.

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:

  • A keen problem solver – You love breaking down complex challenges and thinking through possible solutions.
  • Attention to detail – You spot things others miss, whether it’s a data discrepancy, a UX inconsistency, or a process inefficiency.
  • Interest in consumer tech – You’re curious about how digital products are built and eager to learn the mechanics behind great user experiences.
  • Strong communication skills – You can clearly articulate ideas, ask great questions, and adapt your message to different audiences.
  • Analytical mindset – You’re comfortable working with data, whether it’s reviewing user feedback, analysing performance metrics, or learning SQL (no experience required, but a willingness to learn is a plus!).
  • A team player – You enjoy collaborating with different teams and value learning from others

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Support: Help implement and maintain workflows that improve the efficiency of product development and delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate alignment between Product, Engineering, Design, and other teams, ensuring smooth communication and goal setting.
  • Tool Admin: Support management of internal tools like Jira and Confluence, ensuring they’re optimized for team success.
  • Issue Tracking: Keep an eye on operational challenges and help resolve bottlenecks in collaboration with the wider team.
  • Feedback Coordination: Gather, organize, and share stakeholder feedback to inform ongoing improvements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for workflow optimization and propose solutions to boost efficiency and scalability.
  • Product Delivery Support: Play a critical role in launching new products and features.
  • Fraud Review: Investigate flagged accounts and set up a robust fraud review process with thorough documentation.
