Job description

About Lucidya

Lucidya empowers organizations to understand and serve their customers better by harnessing the power of data, AI, and human insight. As we expand our footprint across the region, we’re committed to delivering a seamless employee experience that matches our passion for customer success.

About the Role

We are seeking a remote, highly organized, and detail-oriented HRMS & IT Specialist to support the daily functions of our People department. Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, the ideal candidate will handle a wide range of People operations duties, from travel coordination and onboarding to offboarding and payroll support, while also ensuring the smooth operation of administrative and IT-related processes.

With over 70 employees currently based in Egypt and no local HR presence, this role will serve as Lucidya’s first on-the-ground HR and IT representative in the country. You’ll be the critical link between our remote People and Tech teams, responsible for streamlining onboarding experiences, maintaining accurate HR data systems, coordinating asset management, and supporting employees across Egypt with both HR and IT needs in a fully remote environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities
1. HR Systems Management (HRMS)
  • Own and maintain ZenHR and other HR platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, CultureAmp, onboarding and performance tools).
  • Ensure HRMS data integrity: perform clean-ups, bulk uploads, data migration, and record maintenance.
  • Customize user profiles, access levels, and workflows based on department needs.
  • Provide basic training to new joiners and support system adoption across teams.
  • Support HR reporting, compliance checks, and system audits.
2. Tech-Focused Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Coordinate laptop and equipment setup with our external IT service provider.
  • Manage the provisioning of new devices (install OS, configure applications, set up user accounts and security tools).
  • Implement and maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Ensure proper data wiping, hardware recovery, and user deactivation during offboarding.
  • Document IT onboarding workflows and FAQs for smoother cross-team collaboration.
3. On-Ground HR Support in Egypt
  • Act as the first point of contact for new hires in Egypt, especially in their early days.
  • Build rapport with distributed team members across cities like Cairo and Alexandria.
  • Organize occasional in-person engagement activities across key cities.
  • Represent the People team locally, collaborating closely with the central HR team in Saudi Arabia.
What Success Looks Like (90–120 Days)
  • Fully integrated with IT and People teams in both Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
  • ZenHR and other HRMS tools cleaned, standardized, and optimized for future integrations.
  • A functional and repeatable onboarding process in place, covering both tech and HR setup.
  • Devices are properly configured and delivered to new joiners with minimal delays.
