Job description

POSITION: Manager, Administration  
DEPARTMENT: Administration  
REPORTS TO: Regional Vice President, Attractions   
FLSA STATUS: Exempt

THE ROLE 

The Manager, Administration will provide support and coordinate all administrative and cross-departmental responsibilities of all attractions. 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITES

  • Leads the Attractions Division’s administrative functions 
  • Manages Regional Vice President - Attractions calendar appointment coordination 
  • Lead coordinator for Operations projects and activations 
  • Coordinate Food and Beverage project management and Hospitality Strategy innovation 
  • Manage strategic relationships with sponsors and partners 
  • Assist in development for sponsorship pitches and decks for executive level partnership meetings and presentations 
  • Plan, develop and execute concepts, pitches and presentations for co-branding and partnerships 
  • Schedules divisional leadership meetings and coordinates meeting locations 
  • Design presentations and reports for executive meetings, and corporate discussions 
  • Produce collateral for Reginal Vice President – Attractions participation in global executive summits 
  • Coordinates and disseminates operational budgets, forecasts and daily reports 
  • Produce collateral for Regional Vice President – Finance for monthly operational, forecast and financial reports 
  • Assist in project management for new product development and new business ventures within Attractions Division 
  • Manage operational and hospitality reporting and reporting development 
  • Complete other duties assigned by Regional Vice President - Attractions 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE     

  • The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business, hospitality or related field.  A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative
  • Have a minimum of 1-2 years of hospitality experience 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 
  • Type between 40 – 60 words per minute 
  • Advanced computer skills 
  • Able to organize time effectively, forward plan and prioritize tasks to ensure workload is balanced and urgent situations are dealt with immediately 
  • Experience with POS management, Open Table and Event Management systems is preferred 
  • A genuine interest and understanding of Operations, food and beverage 
  • Must be punctual and dependable 
  • Ability to perform under pressure effectively for extensive periods of time while maintaining a positive attitude 
  • Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance standards 
  • Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training 

COMPENSATION 

Competitive salary ($64,350), commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
