Summary of Job Duties:
The Database Developer/Architect formulates and defines system scope and objectives and will be responsible for creating and supporting multiple complex, highly critical databases with high availability demands. Perform capacity planning, workload modeling, and prediction to ensure business applications have sufficient resources for near-term performance and long-term growth.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and five (5) years in relational database experience in Microsoft Access, MySQL, Microsoft SQL, C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, FileMaker, Oracle, Sybase, or Informix - OR - a High School diploma/GED equivalent and nine (9) years of experience listed above.
  • Proven programming experience in one or more programming languages.
  • Strong SQL skills, Database, ETL and Data Analytics experience.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects and to work closely and effectively with co-workers and end-users.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Microsoft SQL Server Database Certifications, IBM Information Management Certification, or SA or  EPIC certifications are preferred.
