This position will be remote with a strong preference to be hired in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Optiv + ClearShark you will learn about our best of breed technology portfolio & sell each OEM, at a high level, to Fed-Civ & DOD customers. A successful SDR will independently discover, execute & drive new opportunities with public sector customers & collaborate with marketing & our account managers to be a resource, helping enable agencies to build creative customized full solutions based on each agency's specific mission & initiatives.
You will be tasked with pipeline growth of Optiv + ClearShark’s product, services, & support offerings to existing & prospective customers & partners via outbound activities by phone, email, & heavily utilizing LinkedIn.
To be successful in this role, it is preferred that you have 1-2 years of previous public sector sales experience cold calling, developing & nurturing leads through the sales cycle. Experience working with digital & AB marketing initiatives, researching potential clients, & meeting sales goals. Strong communication & interpersonal skills will aid you in being successful in disseminating technical information into compelling talking points & cultivating solid relationships with clients.
