About the role

The Retail Operations Executive will play a key role in delivering the operational requirements of the wider retail team. They will need to provide effective administrative and technical support to optimise daily retail operations of frontline store locations, with a key focus on inventory, compliance, and procedural aspects across the retail estate.

Key responsibilities include hands-on management of open orders, stock counts, vendor invoicing, and POS systems, as well as indirect oversight of budget adherence and performance metrics.

Invoice & Purchase Order Management: 

  • Handle invoice processing and follow-up of approvals. 

  • Ensure timely and accurate creation and management of Purchase Orders. 

  • Tracking and monitoring of Non-PO Vendor payments to ensure prompt payments. 

Inventory Management: 

  • Completing daily resolution of Open Orders  

  • Oversee stock counts, adjustments, and overall inventory accuracy in collaboration with store teams. 

  • Lead stock replenishment efforts and identify trends to minimise stock discrepancies.  

Escalation and Support for Store Issues: 

  • Act as point of escalation for major store issues, including equipment malfunctions and urgent maintenance requirements. 

  • POS Management & Payment System Checks: 

  • Support EVA Point of Sale (POS) operations, manage promotions, and coordinate assortment planning. 

  • Perform regular checks on Adyen and Payment Entry Device (PED) systems to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. 

P&L Support: 

  • Support Finance team in compiling data for P&L statements, ensuring accurate financial reporting from retail operations.  

Other Operational Support 

  • Support to the retail team with travel and accommodation booking as required, through preferred supplier BCD.  

  • Provide logistical support to retail Inductions, including booking of internal & external resources (catering, travel, rooms & equipment etc.) 

  • Support team with raising of sample orders 

About you 
  • Experience: 2 + years in an operational role, preferably in a retail or stock control environment. 

  • Essential Skills: Proficiency in inventory management systems (SAP Ariba, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Fiori), POS software (EVA POS preferred), and Microsoft Excel. 

  • Competencies: Excellent organisational skills, analytical thinking, and strong attention to detail. Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to handle escalation professionally. 

  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and P&L management. 

  • Operational Efficiency: Ability to streamline processes, manage multiple schedules, and maintain compliance standards. 

  • Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to cascade information effectively and liaise with cross-functional teams.
