How will you make a difference:

  • Lead the implementation of payroll solutions for clients in India, ensuring successful onboarding and setup of payroll systems.

  • Conduct client consultations to understand their payroll requirements, configure systems accordingly, and provide training to users. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless implementation and client satisfaction.

  • Customize payroll processes and workflows to align with local regulations, tax laws, and industry standards in India.

  • Provide ongoing support to clients post-implementation, addressing any issues, troubleshooting system errors, and optimizing system performance.

  • Stay updated on changes in Indian payroll regulations and industry best practices, and incorporate updates into client solutions as needed.

  • Document implementation processes, best practices, and client-specific configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll systems and processes, offering guidance and recommendations to both internal teams and clients.

  • Participate in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, proposal development, and client presentations, to support business growth.

  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and additional service offerings to enhance client value and satisfaction.

What will give you an advantage:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5 to 12 years of experience in payroll implementation or consulting roles, preferably within a payroll service provider company.

  • Strong knowledge of Indian payroll regulations, tax laws, and employment ordinances.

  • Experience with payroll software implementation and configuration, preferably with knowledge of leading payroll systems.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in implementation processes.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Fluent in English and Hindi languages.

  • Certification in project management or payroll (e.g., PMP, Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus.
