This position oversees the development and delivery of educational programs for our commercial sales organization, in addition to healthcare providers and patients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Curriculum Development: Creates and updates training materials, including presentations, online modules and interactive exercises, to ensure comprehensive coverage of product knowledge, clinical applications and regulatory requirements.
- Instructional Design: plans and structure the learning experience to effectively convey information and facilitate knowledge retention, considering diverse learning styles and techniques.
- Program Implementation: Delivers engaging and informative training sessions and hands-on workshops utilizing a mix of visuals, audio and video. On an ongoing basis, provide support, coaching and development to commercial sales organization.
- Performance Management: Evaluates the effectiveness and impact of training programs through assessments, surveys and other feedback mechanisms to identify and implement continuous improvement
- Collaboration: Works with the commercial sales team, marketing managers and clinical team to ensure training content aligns with business objectives and clinical strategies.
- Staying Current: Keeping informed about new technologies, competitors, industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure training programs remain relevant and accurate
- Tools and Technologies: Maximize the value and utilization of current tools and technologies, while identifying any gaps that must be addressed
- Peer to Peer Education: Manage the development, delivery and compliance requirements of a robust speakers program to educate physicians and APPs in order to strengthen belief around WCD’s and to create preference for ASSURE. This includes recruiting and managing speakers, developing materials, managing program logistics, ensuring compliance and tracking program performance.
- Patient Education: Develop and deploy patient education materials to drive compliance and satisfaction

- Information regarding a patient of this company shall not be released to any source outside of this company without the signed permission of the patient. Furthermore, information will only be released internally on a need-to-know basis. All Team Members will not discuss patient cases outside the office or with anyone not employed by this company unless they are directly involved with the patient’s case.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other business-related field
- Minimum 10 years in regulated medical device industry
- Demonstrated experience in medical device sales
- Minimum 5 years direct management/leadership experience
- Experience developing and delivering sales and customer education
- Demonstrated ability to build effective cross functional working relationships
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in science or business administration
- Excellent communication and presentations skills (articulate and persuasive)
- Strong team management and leadership skills. Ability to create strategies, define and articulate clear role expectations and direction. Willingness to “do what it takes”
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise Training & Education team members including but not limited to conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and helping to set professional development goals.
Work Environment:
- Indoor open office environment
- Minimal noise volume typical to an office environment
- Extended hours when needed
- Drug-free, as per FDA regulations
Physical Demands:
- Frequent repetitive motions that may include wrists, hands and/or fingers, such as keyboard and mouse usage
- Frequent stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time
- Frequent computer use
- Frequent phone and other business machine use
- Occasional lifting required, up to 40 pounds, which may be associated with product demonstrations or training
TRAVEL
- Travel of up to 50% required

Salary: Annualized at $190,000-$210,000, plus bonus. Depending on experience and location.
