THE ROLE
Certinia is seeking a dynamic and experienced Analyst Relations Manager to build and nurture strong relationships with key industry analysts. Reporting directly to the VP of Corporate Communications, you will play a pivotal role in shaping analyst perceptions of our strategy, products, and market leadership. This is an exciting opportunity to amplify our voice within the analyst community and contribute directly to our continued growth and success in the SaaS market.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE
  • Strategy Development and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive analyst relations strategy aligned with the company's overall communications and business objectives; Ensure inclusion in relevant industry reports, Magic Quadrants, Waves, and rankings.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key industry analysts covering our market segments.
  • Content and Communication: Create compelling and tailored communications materials for the analyst community, including presentations, briefings, and updates.
  • Briefings and Inquiries: Proactively manage analyst briefings, inquiries, and research requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Analyst Engagement: Plan and execute analyst events, including briefings, webinars, and advisory meetings.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze analyst research and reports to identify key trends, insights, and competitive intelligence, and disseminate this information internally.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, sales, and executive leadership to ensure consistent and impactful messaging to the analyst community.
  • Enablement: Work closely with sales enablement teams to ensure analyst reports and perspectives are integrated into our sales cycles with prospects and customers.
  • Performance Measurement: Track and report on the effectiveness of analyst relations activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in analyst relations, corporate communications, product marketing, or a related role within the technology industry, preferably with SaaS experience.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with industry analysts.
  • Experience interacting with executive leadership
  • Strategic and creative problem solver who is also a self-starter, highly collaborative, and thoughtfully communicative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise messaging for different audiences.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of the SaaS market, its dynamics, and emerging technologies
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to balance strategic thinking with meticulous execution
  • Familiarity with analyst research methodologies and the analyst landscape.
  • Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.
WHAT ELSE WOULD BE GREAT
  • Existing relationships with key analysts in our target market.
  • Experience managing vendor evaluations related to professional services, customer success, and financial management/ERP solutions
  • Experience using CRM or PRM tools for managing analyst interactions.
