Key responsabilities:

Provide day-to-day project management support and track project milestones

Create and publish project documentation including status reports and schedules

Meet with management and users to understand project goals and milestones

Act as a liaison on behalf of OTS and create end user documentation and training as needed.

Job description

Title: Support Services Project Manager
Location: Remote, LA
Duration: 3+ years

Job Description:

The scope of the proposed services will include the following:

• Provide day-to-day project management support
• Create and publish project documentation, including project status reports, project schedules and plans, risks, issues and other documentation, as needed
• Plan for utilization of resources
• Meet with Management and Users to understand project goals and milestones
• Track Project milestones and deliverables throughout project life-cycle
• Provide and maintain detailed software/hardware maintenance documentation
• Act as liaison on behalf of OTS and in-scope agencies
• Create end user documentation and training as needed
• Provide technical knowledge transfer, training and documentation to OTS and DPS-LSP staff for all requested wo rk, as needed

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:

• 5+ years of experience in managing projects

Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory:

• Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and Law Enforcement technology projects
• Project management with State of Louisiana
• PMP certification
