What you can expect as a ADR Unit Manager:

  • Coverage & Assignment Oversight:
    Reviews property claims to determine applicable coverage, policy limits, effective dates, and exclusions. Assigns claims to appropriate adjusters based on loss details or file transfer requests. Identifies and resolves coverage issues in collaboration with assigned adjusters.
  • Reserve & Authority Management:
    Oversees the establishment and approval of claim reserves per company guidelines. Requests additional authority for settlements exceeding designated limits and escalates high-exposure claims to the Director of Claims as needed.
  • Adjuster Oversight & File Review:
    Manages desk and complex adjusters, reviews examiner reports, and ensures investigations and file documentation are thorough and accurate. Approves estimates, payments, and claims resolutions within authority.
  • Communication & Customer Service:
    Serves as a liaison between the company, carriers, agents, and insureds. Communicates claim status and settlement details while addressing inquiries from internal departments and state agencies.
  • Litigation & Dispute Resolution:
    Participates in litigation when necessary. Resolves disputes, reopens and reevaluates claims as appropriate, and provides expert guidance on complex files involving coverage or legal considerations.
  • Training, Performance & Compliance:
    Provides mentorship and training to adjusters. Conducts performance reviews, supports staffing needs, and manages disciplinary processes when required. Ensures claims are resolved timely and in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Reporting & Audits:
    Prepares monthly management and special reports. Assists with internal and external audits of adjusters and vendors to ensure quality and consistency in claim handling.
  • Special Projects:
    Supports departmental initiatives and participates in strategic projects or tasks as assigned.

What we are looking for as a ADR Unit Manager:

  • College degree and/or equivalent insurance designations.
  • At least 10 years of experience adjusting property claims and five years first-party property claim management experience.
  • Florida 620/720 license is required.
  • Ability to obtain AL, GA, NC and SC adjuster licenses and any other states Frontline does business in within 60 days of employment.
  • Strong personal lines coverage interpretation and claim handling background is required.
  • Must have residential construction knowledge and be proficient in Xactimate.
  • AIC designation or equivalent is preferred.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
