Job description

Description

Minute Media is seeking a Campaign Operations Specialist to join our Commercial Content Team. This role will be instrumental in managing the full lifecycle of branded campaigns—from pre-launch to post-campaign analysis—across Minute Media’s owned and operated properties and partner platforms. These brands include: The Player’s Tribune, Sports Illustrated, Fansided, and many more.

This individual will be a critical link between ad operations, brand strategy, media buying, and creative production teams, ensuring that campaigns are executed with technical precision, operational efficiency, and strategic alignment. A strong background in ad tech platforms, campaign management systems, trafficking, and performance analytics is essential for success in this role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and execution of branded campaigns across Minute Media’s global publishing ecosystem, with deep integration into our ad tech and delivery stack.
  • Assist in scaling and streamlining global revenue operations, reporting, and forecasting initiatives, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for campaign delivery, collaborating with AdOps, Creative, Editorial, and Partner teams to ensure all campaign assets and parameters are properly configured.
  • Lead trafficking and implementation of ad tags, pixels, and tracking elements through platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Promotion Manager, and other third-party tools.
  • Coordinate content distribution, including branded content publishing, social amplification, widget deployment, influencer scheduling, and paid media execution.
  • Monitor pacing and performance of campaigns, proactively addressing underdelivery or technical issues through data-driven insights.
  • Analyze campaign outcomes to drive operational improvements, improve media margin, and optimize delivery workflows.
  • Maintain and enhance internal databases and tracking systems for campaign delivery, revenue recognition, and financial forecasting.
  • Update internal tools regularly, including branded content calendars, revenue trackers, and deliverables logs, to provide visibility across cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in campaign operations, ad tech, or digital media execution, preferably within a publisher, agency, or media technology company.
  • Strong understanding of ad operations workflows, media planning, ad trafficking, and digital media buying.
  • Hands-on experience with ad servers (e.g., Google Ad Manager), campaign management tools, and reporting platforms.
  • Proficient in performance tracking, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel/Google Sheets), and data interpretation.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills and ability to collaborate with creative, editorial, technical, and commercial teams.
