Job Description

Ensuring that digital assets are properly prepared for implementation in vehicles is crucial to provide drivers with accurate experiences and correct feature functionalities, while also making Ford processes efficient. Sharing with customers how driver interfaces work and their impact on the driving experience is essential for successful interaction with the vehicle and its features. Therefore, performing production reviews and checks of digital assets, suggesting adjustments, and setting up digital content (videos, screens, animations) are key tasks to ensure correct content implementation in vehicles and to guide customers on using Ford products effectively, highlighting digital feature functionalities over competitors. Digital screens such as touch displays, driver information screens, and HUDs (Head-Up Displays) in Ford/Lincoln vehicles are becoming increasingly relevant due to the need to provide valuable information and enjoyable driving experiences. The growing need for safety and vehicle communication with the driver makes Human Machine Interaction (HMI) a crucial area for our company to remain competitive in the automotive industry. New content and driver assistance features are constantly being developed, challenging our team to integrate new technologies and create the best interfaces and interactions.

As UX / UI Marketing Designer you will collaborate with a global and cross functional team by setting and re-creating digital content up from production Design assets to help customers understand how digital features work in Driver Information and centerstack screens. You will also support performing production Digital assets reviews and checks for providing adjustments suggestions.

Responsibilities

What you'll do…

  • Work along with marketing team to define digital content applicable to specific vehicles/programs.
  • Work along with UI architects and UI architect designers to confirm accurate digital content to share with marketing.
  • Verify the digital asset created for marketing purposes matches production intent through in-vehicle and/or remote validations.
  • Work along with UX/UI Designers to conclude digital material that supports customer education on Ford´s digital content.
  • Perform Orion/Phoenix vehicles production Digital assets reviews and checks for providing adjustments suggestions.
  • Identify improvements/opportunities to increase digital material creation/share process effectiveness.


Qualifications

What you'll need…

  • Strong english skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, former UX / UI / Interaction Designer or other digital design related background preferred.
  • Strong collaboration skills, proactivity, adaptability, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly
  • 3+ years of experience working in Product Development and/or with a design team creating visual and/or interactive design solutions for consumer electronics, mobile devices, automotive or other related domains.
  • Proficient with Figma, Adobe SC Suite, Microsoft Office, Jira


Even better if you have…

  • Proficiency in any video editor software such as Protopie, After Effects or Premiere.
