Job Description

In this role, you will handle on global end-to-end accounting processes with high quality, timeliness, and continuous efficiency improvement. Processing of accounting transactions to ensure accurate reporting in accordance to Nokia's accounting and reporting principles and local statutory regulations.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Managing Intercompany reconciliation along with handling day to day operational level activity by smooth closure of month end, quarterly closing and year end complying with IFRS and Group policies.
  • Intercompany Project initiatives towards automation & process enhancement
  • Review of WHT, Intercompany Agreement, Recharges, GRIR, Accruals within scope to ensure performance efficiency, ensure completion of Intercompany audit & SOX of legal entities.
  • Handle Internal stakeholder’s queries within timeframe / SLA with no deviation
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of finance and accounting operations
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and procedures (including SOX and internal controls), and IFRS/local GAAP accounting principles within the country, ensure timely completion of internal reporting requirements.
  • Continuously monitors performance measures, proposing and implementing process improvement to increase process consistency, quality, efficiency and effectiveness,
  • Regularly review internal control and process and establish measure to ensure effective monitoring and enforcement of fraud prevention.

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

  • Master’s in finance / accounting, 5+ years of experience in Intercompany Accounting & Reporting with financial review and process
  • Able to analyze Intercompany balance along with financial statements by having coordination with internal stakeholders for resolution
  • Effective support on SOX & Audit coordination
  • Able to communicate well with senior management with Strong interpersonal skills and good teamwork capabilities.
  • Experience with SAP, Excel, PBI and PPT
  • Fluent in English, problem-solving mindset and A fast learner, proactive, well-organized, and result oriented.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Able to work with people in different time zones, and in different cultures.
  • Experience in a multinational environment
