Job Description:
We are looking for a Wintel engineer to support the client’s Managed File transfer infrastructure. The application used by the client is “Move It”. Experience with this application is not required. The client uses this to securely transmit files related to their business functions. This is deemed a critical application and Service.
Essential Job Functions:
• Support the management of security initiatives under the direction of senior security personnel.
• Assist in implementing security policies and standards, collaborating with the security team.
• Monitor security events and incidents, escalating and documenting as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance security measures and maintain compliance.
• Aid in compliance efforts, assisting in audits and ensuring documentation is up to date.
• Contribute to incident response activities, participating in investigations and reporting.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of security best practices and trends.
• Support the delivery of security awareness training to employees.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role
• Proven experience in information security
• Proficiencies in risk management, compliance, and security technologies
• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology5+ Wintel engineering experience

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $87,700 - $162,800.Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
