With domain knowledge across product and technology development, we aim to provide cost-efficient solutions without compromising quality. We are driven to deliver the best, every single time.

Altamira service delivery teams currently span Slovakia, Ukraine, and the Middle East, and we have ambitions to expand our footprint to meet the growing demand across Europe and into our primary growth markets in the UK and the US. In terms of industry verticals, we are focused on EdTech, Fintech, eCommerce, and Pharma.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer for our client. This B2B marketplace connects brands, distributors, and retailers across the globe, with a focus on simplifying the ordering of goods and products. The platform mainly serves Africa and Latin America, regions where offline processes still dominate, leading to slow, inefficient transactions. Recently, the platform has also expanded into the United States.

The core of the project is currently built on Magento, with an ongoing migration to VTEX. There is also a .NET-based module responsible for payment processing, alongside several internal side projects. The goal is to create a user-friendly, globally accessible platform that integrates a wide variety of popular payment systems from different countries. Additionally, the product is being enhanced with AI-driven features to optimize the user experience further.

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll be part of a Cloud-native platform team delivering B2B solutions across emerging markets. You will help maintain and improve DevOps practices, develop CI/CD pipelines, and resolve production issues and performance challenges. What you will be doing:

  • Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure

  • Ensuring systems are secure and protected against cyber threats

  • Diagnosing technical issues and developing updates and fixes

  • Monitoring production environments, analyzing metrics, and fine-tuning system performance

  • Improving software reliability, deployment speed, and overall platform health

  • Optimizing performance to anticipate and meet evolving customer needs

  • Providing operational support for multiple distributed applications

  • Collaborating with development teams on release and testing processes

  • Participating in platform design, infrastructure planning, and system scalability

  • Maintaining clear service level objectives while balancing delivery speed and reliability

  • Supporting secure access (PKI knowledge is a plus)

  • Troubleshooting using AWS, Linux, and Windows logs

  • Maintaining and evolving monitoring and reporting systems

Technical Requirements:

  • Experience with CI/CD using GitHub and Jenkins

  • Hands-on with AWS CodeDeploy, CloudFormation, PowerShell

  • Comfortable working with Linux and Windows servers

  • Familiarity with AWS services: Lambda, Cognito, SNS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch

  • Knowledge of MySQL and MSSQL

  • Scripting experience in T-SQL, PowerShell, Bash, or Groovy

What Else We’re Looking For:

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Proficiency in scripting and automation

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities

  • Detail-oriented with good time and task management

  • Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies

Preferred Knowledge:
