Magic Media is currently seeking a Senior 3D Hardsurface Artist to help our team on their next adventure.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Create high-fidelity 3D props in a realistic style, maintaining consistency with the overall visual direction.
  • Model, UV, texture, and implement assets in Unreal Engine using industry-standard software (e.g., Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer).
  • Work with Art Direction and Concept Art to translate vision into production-ready models.
  • Optimize assets for real-time performance without sacrificing visual fidelity.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of PBR workflows and material creation within Unreal Engine.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure assets meet gameplay, narrative, and performance requirements.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in hardsurface full pipeline
  • Portfolio containing SCI-FI style and realistic detail assets
  • Experience in real-time videogame assets development (optimization and integration as well)
  • Mastery in either Max, Maya or Blender
  • Proficient in using Substance Painter
  • ExpertIse in PBR workflow 
  • Ability to show final results in engine
  • Basic rendering and lighting skills
  • Excellent English communication.
