🚀 Technical Implementation Consultant – Legal Technology
Location: Remote (Australia-based) | Travel: Occasional client visits
Our client is a global consulting firm that’s leading the way in legal tech transformation across Australia and the wider APAC region. With a strong pipeline of projects, they’re growing their team and are on the lookout for a Technical Implementation Consultant who can bring both technical capability and client-facing confidence to the table.
If you have experience working with HighQ, Legal Tracker, or similar legal tech platforms — or you’re in legal operations and ready to move into consulting — we want to hear from you.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of client engagements, helping legal departments and law firms adopt and maximise legal tech solutions. Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with clients to gather, understand, and document business and technical requirements
• Configure and implement HighQ, Legal Tracker, and other legal technology platforms based on client needs
• Design custom workflows, dashboards, and templates tailored to legal operations and compliance goals
• Integrate legal tech platforms with other enterprise systems using APIs and third-party tools
• Provide technical advice and troubleshooting support throughout the implementation lifecycle
• Run client training sessions, workshops, and post-implementation support to drive adoption
• Translate complex legal processes into scalable, tech-enabled solutions
• Work alongside project managers, business analysts, and technical teams to deliver projects on time and to scope
• Keep up to date with platform updates and innovations, sharing insights and suggestions for continuous improvement
• Prepare clear documentation and handover materials for clients and internal teams
To thrive in this role, you'll ideally bring:
• Hands-on experience implementing and configuring HighQ and/or Legal Tracker (experience with both highly desirable)
• A solid grasp of legal workflows, legal operations, or corporate legal department needs
• Technical skills across web technologies including APIs, integrations, and ideally some exposure to JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking, especially in client-facing environments
• Excellent communication skills – you’re confident translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile or project-based environments
• Self-motivation and strong time management – able to manage multiple priorities remotely
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Bonus: Experience with other legal tech platforms, or a background in legal ops, compliance, or consulting
• Work remotely from anywhere in Australia, with some flexibility for client visits
• Join a firm that values growth, innovation, and client success
• Collaborate with smart, motivated professionals across the legal tech space
• Be part of high-impact, meaningful projects that transform how legal teams operate
