About The Role: 

We’re seeking an Operations & Supply Chain Senior Manager who thrives in the details but thinks holistically. This role requires a highly accountable, cross-functional leader—someone who proactively surfaces issues, asks the right questions, and ensures operational initiatives are fully aligned with broader business goals.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this person will lead inventory, fulfillment, and cross-functional operational systems with a strong emphasis on ensuring the business is covered operationally as tactical marketing, tech, and campaign changes roll out. You'll be the point person making sure backend systems align with top-line strategy, and that execution across teams supports both financial discipline and customer experience.

This role will play a critical part in ensuring HBI is operating with excellence behind the scenes—stocking inventory at optimal levels and negotiated costs, keeping shipping performance and costs on target, and ensuring that marketing and tech change requests are implemented successfully and responsibly. You’ll bring operational discipline to how work flows across teams and act as a performance partner who connects backend operations with front-end results.

 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory strategy and purchasing, ensuring proper stock levels and best-negotiated vendor costs
  • Oversee day-to-day fulfillment operations and ensure performance of 3PL vendor(s) meets or exceeds targets.
  • Monitor and analyze shipping costs, delivery timelines, and vendor SLAs—proactively driving optimization
  • Serve as the executional checkpoint for all backend marketing and tech-related changes (e.g., campaign updates, funnel changes, system tickets)
  • Build and maintain structured reporting to track fulfillment performance, inventory health, issue rates, and refund trends
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Tech, Customer Experience, and Finance to ensure operational alignment across campaigns, launches, and initiatives
  • Audit cross-functional processes and raise flags when there’s misalignment or risk to CX, revenue, or profitability
  • Develop and implement systems for greater visibility, accountability, and process improvement across departments
  • Lead or contribute to operational planning related to tool migrations, marketing changes, and backend system upgrades

  • Inventory is consistently available, well-forecasted, and cost-controlled
  • Fulfillment is seamless, on-time, and within target cost and SLA expectations
  • Marketing and tech tickets execute smoothly and with backend readiness
  • Departments operate with increased accountability and alignment
  • Backend execution consistently supports customer satisfaction and financial outcomes
 
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years in operations, fulfillment, or supply chain management roles (DTC, eCommerce, or fast-paced CPG preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage 3PL vendors, drive inventory discipline, and optimize backend performance
  • Experience working closely with Marketing and Tech teams to support backend execution of campaigns and system changes
  • Strong analytical chops—fluent in Excel/Sheets, operational KPIs, and cross-functional reporting
  • Detail-oriented, systems-minded, and relentless in improving process discipline and cross-team collaboration
  • Comfortable managing projects and PMs, auditing priorities, and asking critical questions that drive business impact
  • A natural at connecting backend execution to business performance, customer experience, and revenue protection
  • Experience working in mid-size to growth-stage companies where agility and accountability are key
